149/1459 Good Things
Today's good thing: This is a bit different from what I usually do, but I had a great experience that I wanted to tell people about. I have ordered teas and spices throughout the pandemic from Market Spice's website and have always had wonderful experiences. It was impossible to find bulk spices during the worst of the pandemic, and the Pike Place Market was closed to customers, so I used their website and ordered them online.
A couple weeks ago, I placed another order with their Memorial Day sale and got some great deals! Unfortunately, something went wrong with the shipping and the package was seemingly lost, even though the tracking said it was delivered. I contacted them and asked if they would replace the package or refund my money, and they kindly offered to replace it at not cost, and ship it a more secure way, also at no extra cost, which I gratefully accepted.
Two days later, the new package arrived, and lo and behold, so did the lost original package! I now had two! Of course I reached out to them and offered to return the new one or bring it to the store at the Pike Place Market, which is now open to customers again. They replied today that since it wasn't too big of an order, to go ahead and keep it or share it with others. It was so nice of them! It might not be a big order, but it's still a loss for them. I will be sharing the extra items with my friends, family, and coworkers, but I also wanted to get the word out of how great they treated me, and how great their teas and spices are.
If you need bulk spices, definitely check them out. They always seem to have great sales for holidays, and their shop at the Pike Place Market is open again. They have definitely made a loyal customer out of me! And so, they are today's good thing!
