Today's good news is this update on the California condor, a bird that had been on the brink of extinction. While they still have a way to go, they are well on their way to recovery as a species. This is also proof positive that conservation efforts do work, if we put the time, effort, and money into them. Let us hope that more effort is put into conservation in the future, so that we humans can long enjoy a planet teeming with wildlife of all kinds!
