Today's good thing is yet another young person being kind to others. It's easy to forget that homeless children have birthdays too. Getting to celebrate them brings a bit of normalcy to their lives, and maybe helps them forget for a short time, that their lives have been upended through no fault of their own. It's something we should all keep in mind when we think about the homeless.
